The efforts of Prinovis UK to improve environmental performance and enhance sustainability have now, once again, been literally ennobled.  At the national final of this year’s EEF Future Manufacturing Awards the Bertelsmann Printing Group company has taken silver in the “Environmental Achievement” category. The Liverpool site came out of the regional final with a gold award last November. With the award the EEF Manufacturers’ Organisation annually honors manufacturers and supply chain firms that have taken important actions towards achieving sustainable business processes and operations.

In the national final, Prinovis UK competed with small and large companies from diverse sectors from across the UK. The panel of judges was drawn from business leaders, industry experts and academics. The judges were impressed with the extensive portfolio of projects across resource efficiency, biodiversity, employee and community engagement.

“Award is testament to our great team”

John Morris, Health, Safety, Environment and Security Manager at Prinovis UK, says: “It's of paramount importance for modern companies, whatever the industry, to act in a responsible way towards the environment and constantly seek new ways to promote sustainability. We have worked hard to promote an environmentally friendly culture throughout the company, so this award is testament to our great team.”

Stephen Phipson, CEO at EEF, comments: “Businesses have a responsibility towards the environment and should always be looking at ways to improve efficiency and limit their impact. It's clear that Prinovis UK is committed to doing this and has ensured that protecting the environment is a key part of its overall business strategy. This is to be applauded - this firm deserves recognition and every success in the future.”
