Dirk Kemmerer is CEO of the Bertelsmann Printing Group and as CEO is responsible for the businesses of Mohn Media and BPG’s Digital Marketing division, which unites DeutschlandCard as well as the Campaign and Dialog business units, with the AZ Direct profit centers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Adality, and the joint venture BeDirect. He began his career at IBM in Mainz and Hamburg after completing his commercial training and earning a business degree. In 2002, he moved to Arvato Services as an Account Manager. In the following years, he held successive management positions at Arvato Services in Germany and abroad, took over the management of the Marketing & Content Solutions strategic business unit in 2012, and in 2014 was appointed Managing Director of the Arvato Digital Marketing Solution Group. Three years later, he along with his entire business unit moved to the Bertelsmann Printing Group, where he joined the Mohn Media Management Board as CCO, taking over as CEO of Europe’s leading offset printing company in 2018.

Ulrich Cordes is Chief Financial Officer of the Bertelsmann Printing Group and as a member of the Management Board is also responsible for Sonopress. After earning a degree in business administration in Göttingen, he received his doctorate from the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer in 1995. In 1997 he joined Bertelsmann’s Corporate Development department as a consultant. In 2000, he was appointed Senior Vice President Finance of Bertelsmann Marketing Service, and in 2002 Head of Arvato Direct Services. From 2007 on, he served as Senior Vice President Finance at Arvato Services Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), where he was also a member of the Management Board. In 2009, Cordes was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Arvato AG. With the reorganization of Arvato in summer 2015, Cordes assumed responsibility for the Digital Marketing, Print Solutions, IT Solutions, and Replication businesses.
